Suranne Jones
Sarah Anne Jones, better called Suranne Jones, is an actor and producer hailing from England. The actress has earned fame acting as Ruth Slater in the miniseries "Unforgiven," as Detective Rachel Bailey in the police procedural drama "Scott & Bailey as well as the role of GP Gemma Foster in the medical comedy 'Doctor Foster'. Jones originated is from Chadderton in Greater Manchester, joined Oldham Theatre Workshop in which she earned her BTEC National Diploma in Performing Arts. She began performing on stage when she was eight years older, and was the lead character Gloria in a production of "Wait Till Dark". Her first appearance on screen in 1997 playing the character of a show called from "Coronation Street". Then, in 2000, she returned for the show as Karen McDonald. After leaving the ITV soap, she was cast in various roles in TV series like 'Vincent 'Strictly Confidential', and "Harley Street.". In movies like Broken Hearts, A Christmas Star', The Christmas Star, and a Love and a Long Shot she was cast in several parts.
